Founded in the 1950s in Firenze, the historic heart of Italian leather craftsmanship, BUTI is a story of family, passion, tradition, and constant innovation.

Today, the Maison is led by Amerigo Buti, who serves as CEO, continuing the legacy alongside his brother Federico. The next generation has also joined the business with Linda Buti, Amerigo’s daughter, bringing a modern sensibility to a brand deeply rooted in heritage.

BUTI has grown into an internationally recognized name, proudly representing Le Belle Italiane nel Mondo. For the Maison, quality is not just a standard, it is what lingers in the mind of every client.

We first met Amerigo Buti in Milano in early 2022 and later visited him at one of BUTI’s beautiful boutiques in Firenze, the queen city of leather workshops. We are thrilled to now offer BUTI’s exquisitely made Italian bags at MIIO.
